Winning a Cargo Airline of the Year Award is the ultimate accolade in the air cargo sector. Winners are honoured by Air Cargo News and the wider air cargo industry at an exclusive awards ceremony in London on 22 April 2017.

Not only that, Air Cargo News will promote both the shortlisted entries and winners via stories on our must-read website, daily news bulletin and social media feeds.

Please submit your entries by Monday 27 March 2017. Entries submitted after this time will not be eligible.

Entry rules:

    • Please submit an entry of up to 1,000 words outlining why you deserve the award (appendices are excluded from this count)
    • Provide supporting evidence that is clearly referenced in the entry
    • All entrants must agree to publicity in respect to their entry both before and after the awards presentation
    • Any confidential data in the entry must be clearly highlighted as such and will not be published
    • The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence on their decision will be entered into
    • By registering and completing an entry for the Cargo Airline of the Year Awards you agree to these terms and conditions


    Cargo Airport of the Year - Under 1m tonnes

     

    Using facts/figures/testimonials, the judges will want to see evidence of one or more of:

    • How you are improving the air cargo supply chain based in and around your airport
    • Investments you have made that improve the airline experience when it comes to loading/unloading cargo
    • Any airport community initiatives you have taken part in

    Cargo Airport of the Year - Over 1m tonnes

     

    Using facts/figures/testimonials, the judges will want to see evidence of one or more of:

    • How you are improving the air cargo supply chain based in and around your airport
    • Investments you have made that improve the airline experience when it comes to loading/unloading cargo
    • Any airport community initiatives you have taken part in

    Charter Broker of the Year

     

    This award is open to charter brokers who can demonstrate outstanding service and operation for the air cargo industry. Using facts/figures/testimonials, the judges will want to see evidence of one or more of:

    • How your company has developed through service and technology innovation to ensure you are able to meet customers’ aircraft demands
    • How you have differentiated your company from the competition?
    • Business growth, embracing new ideas, innovations and methods of doing business

    Innovation Award

     

    This award is open to any businesses who are providing innovative products, services or operations that are helping to transform the air cargo industry. The judges will want to see evidence of:

    • Originality of services or features
    • The success of the product within the market and against performance indicators
    • How the product or service has improved efficiency, saved costs, saved time, improved productivity 
    • Effective deployment and a collaborative approach with client, customer, logistics network
    • Environmental leadership, demonstrating how the product or service has contributed to a sustainable future

    Ground Handler of the Year

     

    This award is open to ground handlers who can demonstrate outstanding service and operation for the air cargo industry. Using facts/figures/testimonials, the judges will want to see evidence of one or more of:

    • How you have developed your business to improve the efficiency and level of service provided to your airline customers
    • Any investments in new technologies that have improved the customer experience or create efficiencies for customers
    • Effective deployment and a collaborative approach with client

    GSA of the Year

     

    This award is open to general sales agents who can demonstrate outstanding service and operation for the air cargo industry. Using facts/figures/testimonials, the judges will want to see evidence of one or more of:

    • How your company has developed through service and technology innovation to maximise the amount of cargo loaded onto customers’ aircraft
    • How you have partnered with airlines to add value to their operations
    • How you have adapted to change and created new ideas, innovations and methods of doing business
